Nukon (www.nukon.com.tr) — a well-established European manufacturer of cost-effective fibre laser, plasma, oxy-flame and water-jet cutting machinery — is now offering a complete sales and service support facility in the UK via Kidderminster-based Nukon UK Ltd (www.nukon.co.uk).

The company’s R&D Centre houses 10 different machines from the Nukon range; these are working 24/7, 52 weeks a year, processing more than 7,000 tonnes of material a month and giving Nukon’s technical engineers information on machine reliability, performance and optimum cutting data.

In the last two years, Nukon has sold more than 300 fibre lasers. Built to high standards using components generally found on high-precision machining centres, Nukon’s NF Pro range of machines is available with cutting powers up to 6kW and bed sizes up to 6,000 x 2,000mm; the company also offers its Rex range of tube profilers.

Meanwhile, its Eco S-Line Pro is available with laser powers ranging from 500W to 3kW. This machine has a compact footprint (just 6m square), twin change tables with a 16sec exchange time, and a Z-axis travel of 200mm for maximum manufacturing flexibility. Moreover, the CNC system features a user-friendly 19in touch-screen.
