Mechatronic Solutions has received a £1.3 million financing package from Santander Corporate & Commercial.
The Birmingham-based company, which provides automation solutions and systems integration services to customers in a wide range of industry sectors, will use the money to boost exports and to further develop its new RoboPod
manufacturing solution.
The business — set up 25 years ago — has increased its workforce by 30% so far this year.
Managing director Richard Evans said: “This financing package has helped us to progress a new business venture in India — a market we have identified as a key growth area for the next couple of years.”
Leon Sloyan, relationship director at Santander, said: “Mechatronic Solutions has positioned itself as a leading provider of automated solutions.
“This is an exciting time for the business, and we have used our extensive international experience and services to help it expand abroad.”
