Aberdeen-based Pressure Test Solutions (PTS) has been taken over by director Gary Notman (pictured); with an existing 25% stake in the business, he has acquired the 75% holding of founder Fred Nicol.

Mr Notman joined PTS in 2013 as business development director, after working in the oil and gas sector for almost 20 years.

Established in 2007, PTS is involved in the rental, sale and calibration of pressure-testing equipment. It has also diversified to include hazardous-area equipment, in addition to pumps, flushing units, hose reels and hammer unions.
