XYZ Machine Tools will officially open its newly built Nuneaton Technical Centre on 9-10 March. With an area of 6,000sq ft, this facility is twice the size of the previous Nuneaton showroom and will allow the company (
www.xyzmachinetools.com) to significantly expand its customer support in terms of product training and demonstrations.
The building has been bought freehold and the interior designed for displaying a wider cross-section of XYZ machines, including larger models; it also houses conference and training facilities.
XYZ managing director Nigel Atherton says: “The new purpose-built technical centre will significantly enhance the support that we can give our customers across the Midlands and beyond. It will provide an ideal location for
carrying out customer training on a wider range of machines than was previously available.
The extra 3,000sq ft, compared with our original Nuneaton showroom, will allow us to put some of our larger machines — including heavyweight VMCs and extra-large lathes — on permanent display.”
The new technical centre is at 5/6 Tungsten Court, Hemdale Business Park, Nuneaton CV11 6GZ. As the building is new, sat-navs may not recognise its location, but it is visible from the main road and opposite a Rolls-Royce building. During the opening event, the building will be open between 9am and 3pm.
