According to the Knight Frank (www.knightfrank.co.uk) group, the industrial property market in South Yorkshire saw “improved activity” in the second half of 2015.

However, Rebecca Schofield, who runs the group’s Yorkshire industrial team (in Sheffield), said: “There is a shortage of units across all size ranges within the South Yorkshire region.

"There is currently only one modern building of over 100,000s ft immediately available, and there continues to be a strong level of demand for small to medium-size units of good quality.”
