DC Electronics opens US facility
An Essex-based company specialising in motor-sports electrical systems has opened a new production facility in the USA. DC Electronics, which is based in Maldon, has set up a plant in North Carolina to help meet growing demand in both its domestic and export markets.
DC Electronics is one of the motor-sport industry’s leading manufacturers of custom-built electrical systems, and it has distributors world-wide. Its products have been used in competitions that include Nascar, Formula 1, World Rally, Superbike and F1 Powerboats.
Managing director David Cunliffe said the new facility would handle all aspects of vehicle electrical systems, from initial design and production to roll-out and trackside support.
