Machine tool peripheral specialist Barnsley-based LNS Turbo UK Ltd (www.lns-europe.com) has introduced its SFcompact automatic chip and coolant management system.

It says that the patented SFcompact occupies 30% less floor space than filter drum conveyors and is easier to integrate, because no special tank is required in most cases.

The SFcompact is designed to offer self-cleaning filtration down to 50µm, and it is said to be suitable for most materials and chip types. Its modular construction means that a filter module can be changed in 30min.
