Canadian aerospace group Bombardier Inc (
www.bombardier.com) has warned that “the business-jet market will stay soft for a while. There will come a time where it will start to get better, but we don’t know when”.
CEO Alain Bellemare said that private-aircraft prices will “remain under pressure”. He added that the over-supply of private jets has been particularly problematic for models with fewer seats.
Any further output cutbacks in business aircraft will amount to “fine tuning,” and will likely target the Lear 75, according to the CEO.
