ZMM Bulgaria, the Sofia-based manufacturer of manual and CNC lathes, has appointed Huvema UK as its strategic partner for sales and service in the UK and Ireland.

The agreement concludes discussions that began at the MACH 2016 show in April and will see Huvema sell ZMM’s full range of universal, manual, oil country and CNC lathes alongside its own product portfolio.

Emilian Abadjiev, ZMM’s executive director, said: “We are delighted to join forces with Huvema UK, with its extensive experience in the UK’s education and engineering workshop sectors. I am sure our complementary machine tool products will continue serving the UK market well in the years ahead.”

Jon Turley, Huvema UK’s sales manager, said: “ZMM manufactures a range of high-quality high-precision lathes that will be of interest to many of our existing customers. The introduction to the UK market of machines from this leading manufacturer is long overdue.”
