Toyota Motor Manufacturing (

The automotive manufacturer, which announced plans for a £7 million investment at its Deeside engine plant in North Wales earlier this year, assembles the Avensis and Auris models at Burnaston in Derbyshire.
Accounts revealed the company had a turnover of 3.23 billion euros (£2.7 billion) in the year to 31 March, up from 2.68 billion euros (£2.24 billion) a year earlier.
It also moved back into the black with an operating profit of 83.5 million euros compared to a loss of 83.6 million euros in 2015. Pre-tax profits were 80.7 million compared to a loss of 87.4 million euros in 2015. Toyota employs almost 3,000 people across its sites in Derbyshire and North Wales.
