KMF trebles intake of apprentices

KMF trebles intake of apprenticesAfter a series of successful Apprentice Open Days, Staffordshire-based KMF (Precision Sheet Metal) Ltd (www.kmf.co.uk) has decided to take on 12 apprentices this year — three-times the usual number.

Training Centre manager Jenny Conlon says: “We were very pleased with the response to our Open Days and with the quality of the applicants for our apprenticeships. What we saw gave us the confidence to expand our investment in the next generation of engineers by increasing our intake to 12 this year.”

Each apprentice will be challenged to develop the skills needed to be successful in a modern manufacturing environment, through a combination of practical and classroom studies. “As a business, we appreciate the value that apprentices bring to our future plans. By making this investment, we are ensuring that we have the skills base for all areas of our operation, whether that be on the shopfloor or in areas of management.”

Be seen in all the right places!
