Kyocera SGS Precision Tools Inc, (
www.sgstool.com/default.aspx) the American manufacturer of solid-carbide rotary tooling, has confirmed that it is investing $9.5 million to establish the Kyocera SGS Tech Hub in Danville, Virginia.
The company chose Danville because of a strategic partnership with the State of Virginia.
Alan Pearce, CEO of the new hub, said: “Under the encouragement of Governor Terry McAuliffe, Kyocera SGS Precision Tool visited the state of Virginia and the city of Danville.
“We are an organisation with a long history of tradition and values, where creative and progressive thinking has established industry-changing and leading high-performance solutions.”
