SWIG Finance (www.swigfinance.co.uk) has launched a new fund to support growing businesses in Cornwall, with loans from £25,000 to £100,000 available. John Peters, managing director of SWIG Finance, said: “It is really great news that we have got this fund off the ground, specifically for Cornish businesses. We already have a strong demand for it, and we are encouraging ambitious businesses to get in touch without delay.”

Kim Conchie, chief executive of Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, said: “Cornwall businesses need to have the confidence of backers to invest in growth, particularly during these uncertain times. The release of these funds from SWIG Finance comes at a crucial time and is of huge benefit to the local business community.” The new fund is open
