Malton Laser’s revenues grew by 25% to £1.9 million for the year to the end of September, after investing in a new laser cutting machine that tripled its output.
The company is planning another 25% increase in revenues in the current financial year.
Based in Malton, North Yorkshire, the business was founded in 2000 by engineer Charles Corner. It offers a complete sheet metal-work service, including laser cutting, metal pressing, fabrication and powder coating (

Mr Corner said: “To have grown by more than a quarter in the last 12 months is a really great achievement for the company. Most of our customers come to us via ‘word of mouth’ or our Web site.
“We decided to undertake a complete rebrand to ensure that our product range is consistent across all our platforms and reflects the level of professionalism and quality that we guarantee throughout the business.
“The next 12 months are set to be very exciting; we already have a number of high-profile projects in the pipeline. I look forward to driving the business onward with the team to improve upon what has been a brilliant year.”
