A new manufacturing hub has opened in the offices of NatWest in Rowan House, Coventry, to “support firms in their ambitions to the benefit of the wider industry”.
Officially opened last month, the hub includes a display of some of the products manufactured in the region and celebrates some of the area’s great manufacturing achievements.
Surinder Summan, director of commercial banking at NatWest, said: “Without question, manufacturing businesses across Coventry and Warwickshire have developed innovative products and technology to support the manufacturing sector, and our hub has been created to celebrate these achievements.”
As part of the celebrations and to encourage further enterprise in the region, Coventry & Warwickshire Reinvestment Trust received a £34,600 cheque as part of NatWest’s Skills and Opportunities Fund.
Over 800 not-for-profit organisations across the UK and Ireland applied for the latest round of NatWest’s Skills & Opportunities funding which supports organisations which have created programmes to enhance financial education and enterprise in their communities.
