Tamworth-based Theorem Solutions Ltd (
www.theorem.com) has released V19.3 of its Creo to Catia ‘3DExperience’ Multi-CAD product.
V19.3 supports Catia V6-6R2013x, 3DExperience R2014x, R2015x and R2016x, as well as Creo 2.0 and 3.0. If required, this uni-directional product can be packaged with Theorem’s Catia 3DExperience Multi-CAD to Creo product, creating a bi-directional translator.
Based upon Dassault Systemes’ XCAD technology, Theorem’s Multi-CAD allows the Catia 3DExperience user to work interactively with native Creo parts and assemblies in an interactive session. This is achieved by simply selecting the Creo part or assembly to be imported into Catia 3DExperience, thus allowing the user to work with the Creo data to perform design modifications, design-in-context and manufacturing activities.
Multi-CAD products support the introduction of assembly structure and FTA (geometry and functional tolerancing and annotation), together with system-defined attribute information and colour information from Creo data — plus additional support for the processing of model-based definition information from native CAD. In V19.3, FTA is supported for both Creo to Catia 3DExperience Multi-CAD, and CATIA 3DExperience Multi-CAD to Creo.
