Following ‘exponential sales growth’ over the last three years, Open Mind Technologies UK Ltd (www.openmind-tech.com) has expanded its operation with new staff, a larger training room and increased office space.

The company’s training facility now allows 10 customers to undertake training at any one time.

Furthermore, Open Mind’s HyperMill CAM package exceeded all previous sales records last year, along with a 150% increase in enquiry levels from major UK manufacturing exhibitions.

Commenting on the increased level of interest in HyperMill, UK managing director Adrian Smith said: “The speed and efficiency of HyperMill when programming complex five-axis components have resulted in this CAM package being the choice of F1 teams and the motor-sport supply chains. We have also seen increasing demand from the aerospace, automotive and medical industries.

“More recently, we have developed versions of HyperMill that provide an intuitive entry-level system for businesses that are new to CAM software.

“Meeting the needs of the entire manufacturing industry through a modular CAM package necessitated us extending our office space and growing the team to support our on-going success.”
