GE Additive (
www.geadditive.com) will add Predix platform capabilities to its Concept Laser M2 Cusing additive machines, giving customers the opportunity to perform remote monitoring, thus increasing productivity and improving operations.
From September this year, all Concept Laser M2 Cusing and M2 Cusing Multi-laser AM machines will be delivered to customers equipped with Predix.
Developed by GE Digital, Predix provides industrial-scale analytics that allow companies to know exactly when their build has finished, regardless of their location.
Users will also know if their machine parameters are running on trend or outside of control limits, therefore augmenting their quality management systems.
Other features include early detection of errors, with notifications sent to customer mobile phones.
