Stroud-based Omnitrack Ltd (
www.omnitrack.com), which has been making ball transfer units since 1954, is building a 10,000ft
2 extension to its production facility, supported by a six-figure finance package from HSBC.
Operating from Rodborough Court, a grade II-listed manor house, Omnitrack has a customer list that includes the European and US space agencies, plus robotics, aeronautics and nuclear and atomic research centres world-wide.
The funding will bring its research and development facilities together in a new building, located alongside its existing site and scheduled to open later this year.
The company exports 85% of its products. As part of its expansion plans, it intends to create 12 new full-time positions in the next 14 months.
