Doosan Infracore (
www.doosaninfracore.com) has entered into an engine supply contract with Kion group, the German fork-lift company. The contract — for around 69,000 diesel and LPG compact engines — runs to the end of 2028.
A total of 10 representatives from each party attended the signing of the contract at Doosan Infracore’s Incheon factory in Korea on 27 June.
The unit being provided to Kion is the G2, an environment-friendly and high-efficiency compact engine that was first
developed in 2012. Doosan Infracore is diversifying the customer base for G2 engines and steadily increasing its output.
A Doosan Infracore official said: “We’re making pro-active sales efforts to make the most use of the engine transition period, following the introduction of new emission standards in both North America and Europe. By making G2 engines the growth driver of the future, we will continue expanding our customer base moving forwards.”
