Cambridge-based Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group (

The contract is to replace the centre wing box of the RAF’s Hercules C-130J aircraft and thereby extend their ‘out of service’ date to 2035, so they can continue to transport personnel and equipment around the world.
The C-130J has supported defence and humanitarian relief efforts in Iraq, Nepal and South Sudan.
