EDF Energy Renewables (www.edf-er.com) has confirmed its acquisition of a portfolio of Scottish wind-farm sites (producing up to 600MW) from UK developer Partnerships for Renewables.

The deal includes 100MW across three consented projects, one late-stage development and early-stage ‘ambitions’ across the country.

Chief executive Matthieu Hue said: “We have a well-established strategy to grow our business, either by developing our own sites or through acquiring high-calibre projects.”
