Kraft Skymaster (Hall 27, Stand C04) is bringing together the design engineering capabilities of Germany and the cost-effectiveness of Chinese production.
UK distributor Portwrinkle-based IWSH Ltd (
www.iwshltd.com) sees this as providing the perfect combination for precision and competitive pricing.
On show will be the high-speed VF1615A double-column machining centre, which can be supplied with either a 15,000, 24,000 or 36,000 rev/min HSK-63A spindle; the 24,000rev/min option will be on display.
Options added to the show machine will include a Heidenhain TNC620 control, a Blum tool- and part-measuring system, and through-spindle coolant.
Standard equipment includes linear guideways, absolute linear scales, adaptive load control, oil-water separator and full splash guard. The VF1615A has a work envelope of 1,600 x 1,300 x 700mm.
In addition to its VF-series machines, Kraft Skymaster offers three more ranges: the VU five-axis series; the VL linear-guideway series; and the large VM double-column series, with work envelopes up to 5,100 x 3,400 x 1,000mm.
As with VF-series machines, these can be configured with a choice of control system, spindle and tool changer.
