MasterMover , the electric-tug specialist, is opening a second UK office next to its Ashbourne headquarters and creating 13 new jobs as it experiences strong international demand for its alternatives to industrial forklifts and traditional load-handling equipment (

The new facility will be used for training and also house MasterMover’s sales, service and marketing teams; it will also help the company to boost its production capacity and improve the quality of service it provides to customers.
The company has experienced a 16% rise in sales in 2016, with significant international expansion in sectors including automotive, pharmaceutical and healthcare.
Managing director Andy Owen said: “Off the back of a successful year, our core focus is to continue delivering a high quality of service and products in the UK, as well as across MasterMover’s international partner base.
“Just as we manufacture all products in the UK, we also look to invest in the people in our local area.
“The new office has a training room and gives us enough space to store spare parts. This area will allow us to work closer with our dealers and partners while also being able to offer them greater support on-site.”
