Now available from Tamworth-based Industrial Tooling Corporation Ltd (www.itc-ltd.co.uk) is the new BIG Kaiser C-Cutter Mini, a high-speed chamfering tool that the company says has the potential to reduce machining times by up to 85%.

This tool, which features wear-resistant inserts with a PVD coating, is designed for multi-functional cutting tasks, including chamfering, back chamfering and face milling.

Available in single-insert and four-insert configurations, it also marks the introduction of what ITC describes as the world’s smallest ‘hex insert’, with a diameter of 3.97mm.

This particularly small dimension enables back chamfering from a starting hole with a diameter of 6mm.
