Kingswinford-based RP Technologies, which manufactures injection-moulded prototype and production components, has opened a German office — in Billigheim-Sulzbach (www.rptechnologies.co.uk).

The company already has a leading position in the UK, and the new branch will provide opportunities to expand its footprint in Europe.

Jörg Müller, sales manager for the German territory, said: “RP Technologies has been building a presence across Germany for the last few years.

"There has long been a gap in the market; opening an office in Billigheim will enable us to better support our existing customers and allow us to develop new business relationships with a wide range of clients across Germany.”

RP Technologies has invested heavily in additional CNC machining centres, injection moulding machinery and manufacturing staff to increase the capacity of its UK facility in advance of the launch of the new office; it has also launched a German version of its Web site.

The company provides a fast turn-round of complex aluminium tooling and plastic injection-moulded components. Its philosophy is to offer a solution to meet customer needs, no matter how complex the component design or process.
