Salts Healthcare latest to joins AM hubSalts Healthcare (www.salts.co.uk), a family business dating back more than three centuries, has joined Birmingham’s Advanced Manufacturing Hub.

The company, which makes medical devices and can trace its roots back to 1701, has agreed to take the whole
of the 94,500ft2 Apollo building on the hub in Aston.

Managing director Peter Salt said: “The Apollo building will allow Salts Healthcare to continue with its business expansion and to further develop innovative production techniques and product research.

"We are proud to have secured this prestigious site, which will allow us to remain in Birmingham and fits well with our future plans and strategies.”

Apollo was built speculatively by Trebor Developments in conjunction with funding partner Aviva Investors Pensions.

Bob Tattrie, Trebor’s managing partner, said: “We are delighted to have concluded contracts with Salts Healthcare for the Apollo building.

"This company met all the criteria we had hoped for in letting this building. We will have seen the site acquired, developed, let and occupied in less than two years.”
