Coalville-based Kocher & Beck (www.kocher-beck.com), which specialises in printing and labelling technology, is targeting new contracts after completing a £1.4 million extension that includes a ‘state of the art’ chemical etching facility that gives it additional capacity, followed up by a £500,000 office refurbishment.

Managing director Steve Horne said: “Business is brisk, and we needed the extension to ensure that we have the right platform to make the most of new opportunities.

"This involved boosting our production capabilities by installing cutting-edge chemical rooms with built-in environmental considerations — and then we wanted to create a great working environment for our sales team.”
