Dover-based Megger (www.megger.com), which manufactures electrical test and measuring equipment, is to open a new facility at Kings Hill to house a new development team.

The company employs about 230 people at its Dover site and sells its products world-wide. Marketing and sales director Bryan Phillips said: “Our Kings Hill base will house a satellite development team.

"Initially, we are looking to take on around eight engineers in a mix of disciplines — mechanical, hardware, software as well as a site lead. We intend to use the first year to hone the operation of our new base and will then review a further expansion.”
