Scarborough-based Unison (www.unisonltd.com), which manufactures tube-bending machines, has entered into a joint venture with Pneuform Machines — a manufacturer of bending machines for wire and small-diameter tube.

The partnership will eventually lead to the full integration of Pneuform Machines within the Unison family of companies, where it will join Yorkshire CNC and Ingenium Integration.

Alan Pickering, Unison’s joint managing director, said: “We are excited about our joint venture with Pneuform, which has been firmly established in the tube-bending industry for over 50 years.

“The partnership will see new product lines added to our portfolio, which already houses the world’s largest range of all-electric tube-bending machinery; they will sit alongside our Evbend range of machines.
