Redditch-based electronics group Solid State has seen its revenues rise by 12%, as its growth strategy continues to deliver.
The company, which specialises in computers and other products for industry, achieved sales of £22.5 million in the six months to September, although its adjusted pre-tax profits were down by a fifth, to £1.6 million (

Company chair-man Tony Frere said: “The success of the growth strategy in action is amply demonstrated by the 9% organic growth in the computer business unit and near 20% growth in the distribution division.
"The board expects the strategy to deliver across other business units in a similar fashion. The markets that the company services are resilient, and the group can deliver a strong second-half performance.”
