Derbyshire-based Zoller UK (www.zoller-uk.com) welcomed some 80 visitors from more than 40 businesses to its two-day Open House event, where the company demonstrated how its specialist tool pre-setting and inspection solutions can offer manufacturers time and cost savings.

One of the highlights was the Smile Compact, a table-top machine that can be used in a production environment to measure standard tool parameters in just seconds; another was the Smart Cabinet range of manual or automated cabinets with ‘inventory software’ for the efficient management of tools and accessories (shown for the first time in the UK).

Sales manager Leigh Tricklebank said: “As well as tool pre-setting and measuring machines to suit all budgets, we specialise in providing total tool management solutions, with a focus on giving suppliers and manufacturers the power to make products better, faster and cheaper.

“We achieved our aims for this event of securing high attendance, developing new contacts and showing new technologies to visitors.”

Alongside machine demonstrations, the Open House also featured products from Zoller UK partners Open Mind Technologies, Kyocera Unimerco and CG Tech.
