Coventry-based GOM UK (
www.gom.com) will host a free ‘3-D metrology for casting and foundry processes’ workshop in Coventry on 8 March 2018, as part of an international workshop series taking place at 42 locations around the world from January to April.
The global GOM network established this event series to transfer its process-related insights and knowledge to design engineers, pattern makers, die and mould makers, and specialists from quality assurance and production.
GOM and selected speakers will show how full-field surface measurements guarantee faster first-article inspection and targeted tool correction, thereby reducing lead times.
For production-related quality control, both the measurements and the entire evaluation process can be automated. In addition, the GOM network introduces the latest developments in 3-D metrology systems and inspection software.
