Bristol-based Vigilance Group — the engineering specialist holding company that includes Machine Tool Sales Online (www.machine toolsalesonline.com),
MACH Machine Tools (www.machmt.co.uk) and Vigilance Engineering Safety Products (www.vigilance-esp.com)— has celebrated its 10th anniversary.

As well as being a landmark year for the group, 2017 also marked a milestone for managing director Dave Andrew (pictured), who celebrated 30 years in the machine tool industry in November.

Despite its past successes, the Vigilance Group is focused on the future, and it has implemented a number of initiatives designed to ensure its long-term growth and prosperity.

These include the recent launch of new Web sites for Machine Tool Sales Online and MACH Machine Tools and — from this spring onwards — a significant expansion in the type and range of machines offered by the latter.

Mr Andrew said: “We are constantly moving forward, and in the early part of this year, we will begin to stock and sell new ranges of high-productivity and high-performance CNC machine tools. These will be sold alongside
our existing and best-selling ranges of manual machines, and both will be showcased on our stand at MACH 2018 in April.”

The group has recently yaken steps to expand its operations by acquiring a 6,000ft² facility for a new MACH Machine Tools showroom and training centre, adjacent to its existing 13,000ft² facility at Fishponds.

Mr Andrew added: “The group experienced its best-ever sales performance last year, and I’m confident that the continued investment in our people, plant and processes — combined with a significant expansion in our product ranges and the attendant services we provide — will deliver even more success in the future.”
