Advanced Handling moves to new factoryAdvanced Handling, which specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke manual handling equipment, has relocated from Market Deeping to a new factory in Peterborough.

Having doubled its factory floor space and invested in new manufacturing equipment, the company is looking forward to providing a more streamlined service to its customers.

Founded in 1977, Advanced Handling was acquired by the Sunnex Group in 2012.

Managing director Mike Prince, said: “For 40 years, we have been improving workplace safety and operational efficiency in a diverse variety of UK industries.

“Now, with our new location and the UK manufacture of our products, we will be able to offer increased job opportunities. The main advantage to customers will be much faster lead times from order to delivery.”

The new facility features a large showroom area giving customers the opportunity to get ‘hands-on’ with the company’s full range of innovative products, from scissor lifts and stackers to lightweight lifting trolleys and overhead lifting solutions.

“We want everyone to recognise that our speciality is in supplying modified and completely bespoke manual handling and lifting equipment.

“We take the time to create the perfect solution to fit the requirements of individual customers. Lifting equipment is rarely ‘one size fits all’.”
