39 Fokker aircraft were sold in 2017

39 Fokker aircraft were sold in 2017GKN Aerospace’s Fokker Services (www.gkn.com) business confirms that a total of 39 Fokker aircraft were sold in 2017, compared with 42 in 2016. Currently, about 400 Fokker aircraft are operating world-wide.

In Europe, Cypriot airline TUS AIR became an operator of Fokker aircraft, when it bought two Fokker 100s and four Fokker 70s.

The Dutch company ATS also purchased a Fokker 70, while MWG (based in Myanmar) bought two Fokker 70s for use on domestic and regional services.

Bek Air (in Kazakhstan) added two Fokker 100s to its fleet, while Leascor (in the Philippines) became a Fokker operator in December with a Fokker 50.

Other recent Fokker purchasers include: the Mexican operator Maya-ir (two Fokker 50s); Fly All Ways of Surinam (a Fokker 70); and an unnamed start-up in South America (two Fokker 70s).
