DMG Mori AG (us.dmgmori.com) rose markedly. Order intake rose by 16% to 2,754.8 million euros (previous year: 2,369.9 million euros), while world-wide machine tool consumption rose by 4.5%, meaning that the company has grown stronger than the market.

Sales revenues rose by 4% to 2,348.5 million euros (previous year: 2,265.7 million euros).

Domestic orders grew by 8% to 825.7 million euros (previous year: 763.0 million euros).

International orders amounted to 1,929.1 million euros (+20% — previous year: 1,606.9 million euros), making up 70% of total orders (previous year: 68%).

The company also made a successful start to the new financial year; at its traditional Open House in Pfronten, record results were achieved, with an order intake of more than 285 million euros and around 8,500 international trade visitors.

There are two companies using the name DMG Mori: DMG Mori AG (with its registered office in Bielefeld, Germany) and DMG Mori Co Ltd (with its registered office in Nara, Japan).

DMG Mori AG is (indirectly) controlled by DMG Mori Co Ltd.
