Aircraft and train manufacturer Bombardier (uk.bombardier.com) is working with Siemens (www.siemens.com) to further explore and extend the latter’s Teamcenter software for product lifecycle management (PLM).

Teamcenter provides an integrated single source of information and data for programmes spanning mechanical, electrical, systems, software and wire harnesses “for visibility and traceability throughout each stage of the development process”.

Bob Jones, executive vice-president (Siemens PLM Software), said: “Implementing Teamcenter can give Bombardier greater flexibility in their product development cycles, which is critical in today’s competitive production environment.”
