With flexibility, minimal interference contours and high levels of precision being key factors for modern work-holding solutions, Cannock-based Hainbuch UK says it will be demonstrating these attributes in its new range of ToPlus and SpannTop mini chucks (Hall 19 Stand 120) (
www.hainbuch.com).
Making their
MACH debut, these mini chucks are designed to bring “compatibility and flexibility to customers buying this modular system”.
The SpannTop and ToPlus mini series are offered with a full through-bore plus a variety of standard lengths to suit all machine types and draw-tube configurations.
Also making a
MACH exhibition debut will be the Magnet Module. This has been developed for processing complex or thin-walled parts.
Featuring neodymium magnets with holding forces of up to 140N/cm
2, Magnet Modules are compatible with standard Hainbuch work-holding chucks such as ToPlus and SpannTop.
Via a single screw that activates the magnet, Magnet Modules provide ease of use and fast clamping/unclamping times.
Suitable for use with the Hainbuch range of pull-back clamping devices, Magnet Modules can be set up in less than 30sec, says Hainbuch, while delivering a positional change-over accuracy of 2μm.
Another addition to the company’s product line-up is the Centrex face-drive attachment.
This allows the machining of a workpiece over its entire length, while delivering high levels of concentricity and geometric tolerance.
