West Midlands-based MG Welding Plant (
www.mgwelding.co.uk) — a supplier of welding plant, welding equipment and positioning equipment — has invested £150,000 in a new building with a 20-tonne crane at its base in Dudley.
Last year, the company made the decision to demolish an old storage unit and replace it with a new purpose-built unit, which has now been completed and is in full operation.
Mark Cunnington, MG Welding’s director, said: “The new unit allows us to provide a larger range of higher-capacity rotators and positioners from stock and greatly increases our efficiency.”
“The company, which has been established for over 40 years, stocks all types of welding positioners, welding rotators, seam welders, MIG welders, TIG welders, profile cutters, plasma cutters and a range of new and used column-and-boom and submerged welding equipment.
Mr Cunnington added: “The quality and selection of our positioners, rotators and manipulators is second to none; to compliment these, we stock welding plant, welding machines and welding consumables — all with a full service back-up.”
