The ‘Keep it Covered’ range of products from Kingston-based Wogaard Ltd (
www.wogaard.com) has been expanded with the introduction of a flexible swarf-skip covering system.
As well as improving the aesthetics of a machine shop, this system means that any vapours created by neat oil or water-based coolant contacting hot swarf and chips are contained within the sealed volume.
Tailor-made for any size or shape of skip or bin, the covers are produced from a polyurethane material that is polyester-coated on the reverse side to provide ‘blackout and waterproof’ capabilities.
The heavyweight high-strength fabric is hard wearing, while the double-locked nylon stitching and bespoke attachments ensure that covers locate correctly and remain in place.
According to Wogaard, the material has a proven track record in harsh environments found in the marine and agricultural sectors.
Overall measurements of the swarf skip, along with details of the swarf conveyor and its entry location are required.
Additionally, the location of the access point for a Wogaard Coolant Saver and clear viewing window can be specified, along with the option of a company logo.
