Texo Group acquires Orca SubseaIn order to provide its clients with a range of support, technology and engineering services tailored to diving and ROV applications, Aberdeen-based Texo Group (www.texo.co.uk) has acquired Orca Subsea and rebranded it as Texo Marine.

The latter will be an integral part of the Texo Group, with significant funds being made available for new and advanced equipment.

Callum Masson, Texo Marine’s managing director (and founding member of Orca Subsea), said: “Since our inception, we have worked hard to stay ahead of the curve in developing solutions for our clients’ diverse needs.

Being part of the Texo Group will give us the necessary support to drive further growth in the business.”

Texo Group managing director Robert Dalziel said: “We are redefining the landscape for the provision of integrated asset services, based on client needs. We are delighted to welcome the Orca team to the Texo family.”

The business will be based in Texo Group’s purpose-built facility in Aberdeen, with fabrication facilities at the Port of Dundee, Hebburn and the Port of Blyth, plus drone operating bases in Nigeria, Malaysia and Brazil.
