After entering into a strategic partnership in the UK and Ireland with Erith-based RK International Machine Tools Ltd (www.rk-int.com), Italy’s Machining Centers Manufacturing Spa (MCM) took part in the Farnborough International Airshow.

Stefano Tirelli, MCM sales area manager, said: “Farnborough is a very important exhibition for MCM, as about 60% of our machines and systems are sold into the aerospace sector.

"The partnership with RK International allowed us to get our message across to visitors and exhibitors, and I am confident that our two businesses will grow together as a result.”

RK International staff were present throughout the show to support MCM, and there was a high level of interest in the company’s product range, which extends from single machines with automation through to complex multiple-machine flexible manufacturing systems.

“One of our major strengths is that we design and manufacture everything in-house, including the system management software. This gives us an ideal platform to provide the customisation that our clients require.”
