Leeds-based Filtronic (www.filtronic.com)— a leader in the design and manufacture of a broad range of customised RF, microwave and millimetre-wave components and sub-systems — has secured a follow-on production order from a European customer for its Massive MIMO (mMIMO) antenna product.

This order is worth about $1.1 million.

CEO Rob Smith said: “We are pleased that order flow is now running for this product, which is the first offering from our mMIMO antenna range.

“This technology is key to the densification of 4G/LTE networks and is a cornerstone technology for future 5G networks.”
