Smethwick-based Professional Polishing Services Ltd, which specialises in the polishing of stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper and bronze to a variety of finishes, has secured £240,000 of funding from Barclays to purchase a new bright polishing line.

This will boost capacity by 50% and create five new jobs.

Managing director Kirsty Davies-Chinnock (www.professionalpolishing.co.uk) said: “We have always focused on growth through investment in additional lines, and this is going to be one of our most ambitious yet.

“The machines will take a few months to be built, before arriving in early 2019.”

Professional Polishing Services was founded in 1983 and currently employs 22 people.
