Cost-effective laser cutters and engravers will be showcased by West Yorkshire-based Boxford Holdings Ltd (www.boxford.co.uk) at Southern Manufacturing (Stand L35).

Using the experience gained from supplying laser cutters over the last 16 years, the company has built its latest range of laser cutters to exacting standards, while providing value for money.

Its philosophy is to deliver systems that provide the maximum convenience for the user, with built-in features as standard that include integrated-chiller cooling systems, auto focus, air assist with integrated compressor, and red-dot pointer.

Most machines are offered ex-stock, and there is full on-site commissioning and training.

A large range of consumables and spares is also available ex-stock, ensuring that customers are fully supported. Superior glass CO₂ laser tubes are used, with standard variants offering lifespans up to 1,500hr on the BGL350 and BGL460 models, and long-life variants offering lifespans up to 10,000hr on the BGL690, BGL1390 and BML1390 models.

The lifespan of the BFL1390 metal-cutting fibre laser is up to 100,000hr. The BML1390 offers all the material-cutting and engraving options normally associated with CO₂ lasers, along with the additional capability of being able to cut steel 1.5mm thick and stainless steel 1.2mm thick.

The BFL1390 is an enclosed metal-cutting fibre laser, with the 500W variant able to cut 6mm-thick steel, 3mm stainless steel and 2mm aluminium; 750W and 1000W variants are also available. A range of accessories is available, including rotary devices for engraving cylindrical objects and fully filtered fume extraction systems.
