Crawley-based ventilation products supplier Volution Group (www.volutiongroupplc.com) has acquired an Australian counterpart in a deal worth almost £15 million.

Ventair is a specialist supplier of air movement products in the Australian residential market, with its head office in Melbourne and warehouses in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

The acquisition is in line with Volution’s strategy to expand by acquiring value-adding businesses in the residential-ventilation market and also in the commercial-ventilation market.

Ventair managing director Gary Purcell, who founded the business 12 years ago, will continue to lead it in Australia.
