Bedfordshire-based Midas Pattern Co Ltd (www.midaspattern.co.uk), which specialises in the manufacture of ultra-high-quality polyurethane RIM mouldings, has invested in a new Haas VF9 vertical machining centre to meet demand for its products.

The new machine, which has a machining envelope of 2 x 1 x 1m, will complement the company’s six existing Haas machining centres, boosting its machining capacity as workloads increase and lead times get ever shorter.

The company is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and it sees this move as a fitting investment for the future.
