Make UK (www.makeuk.org) — formerly known as the EEF — has appointed Robin Fletcher and Edward Jones as non-executive directors.

This is the first appointment of external non-executive directors to the organisation.

Mr Fletcher has been chief executive of the Boarding Schools’ Association since 2014 after working as a journalist, newspaper editor, plc communications director and business owner.

Mr Jones was most recently CFO of Carnival UK.

He has also worked for P&O Cruises and Cunard, and he has extensive experience as a non-executive director.
