ClearMotion to expands at MIRA Technology ParkUS-based ClearMotion Inc, a global automotive technology company, has committed to a 10-year deal on a new technical centre within the MIRA Technology Park.

The company ( specialises in “proactive suspension technology, road surface mapping and active seating motion control”, saying its systems mitigate road roughness in real time, doing for motion what noise-cancelling does for sound.

Following the establishment of its R&D team and European headquarters at MIRA Technology Park in January 2018, ClearMotion has seen growth in its development and business operations.

A new technical centre, which is now under construction, will equate to a 10-fold increase in floor space compared with the company’s initial facility — and will provide modern office, workshop and ancillary facilities, to accommodate its expanding European team. The construction is scheduled for completion in July this year.

MIRA Technology Park provides ClearMotion with access to world-class test facilities and services, alongside the opportunity for employees to access skills development through the MIRA Technology Institute.

It’s geographic location at the centre of the UK automotive sector also facilitates the recruitment of essential skills.

Shakeel Avadhany, CEO and co-founder of ClearMotion, said: “The mobility landscape is changing rapidly, with ride quality of increasing importance to automotive manufacturers, drivers and passengers.

"MIRA Technology Park is a major hub for automotive innovation and we are keen to expand our presence there.”
